Enable the Argo CD admin Account

Argo CD instances you create inside the Akuity Platform do not enable the admin user by default.

To enable the admin user on an Argo CD instance:

1. Navigate to Argo CD → your instance → Settings → System Accounts.

2. Enable the Admin Account switch.

3. Click Set password. Then either:

   • Specify a custom password and click Submit or

   • Click Regenerate password to generate a strong password. The password will not be displayed. Click Copy to copy the new password to your clipboard.
